There are many moving parts to the back-end (and front-end for that matter) of a working website. This is a high-level overview of what you can expect during a migration of your website to WP Maintenance Experts.

Meet and Greet

We’ll schedule a time to talk, see if either of us have any questions and develop a rough time estimate.

Preperation

We’ll prepare our server to receive your website, copy over DNS, build out the CDN, create any mailboxes, and get it all ready. We’ll move a copy of the website and give it a run through for anything that needs to (or can) be addresses before going live.

Go Live

We flip the switch! Well, there’s more to it then that but this is the point you’re now with WPME. Once the move completes well go through the website and visually inspect it on desktop and on mobile.

Any details that needed to wait until the domain name is active will be completed at this time. This would include bot and spam protection, code minification, and a staging site if you plan to jump right in on making some changes.
